I only have praise for all the help and assistance that the Action Group have given us with our problem, what I would have done without them, the mind only boggles.
Congratulations and thank you for establishing the site. Hopefully it will act as a warning to anyone contemplating a purchase in Cyprus. The nightmare is obviously as prevalent in the South as it is reported to be in the North. Thank you for your continued efforts on behalf of law abiding individuals everywhere who have bought or paid for property in Cyprus but have either nothing to show for it or are locked in battles with developers, individual vendors, their agents & colluding lawyers.
I love the Island and would like to reside there but the Legal system requires backing up by people that are trustworthy. The CPAG has started a brilliant journey lets encourage all the investors there to jump on enjoy the ride.
I for one am spreading the word, well done.
All the advice you are likely to get before purchasing property is 'get a reputable lawyer'. This is no defence at all as there are as many deceitful lawyers as there are builders. This website is worth ten lawyers.
Good luck and if I can help, I will.
Thank you for your email. It's been a very hard time for us recently along with many others involved with Marathounta Heights, but it is heartening to know that we have people like yourself who are in our corner trying to help.
Just a quick note to thank you for all the excellent work you have done in highlighting our situation and others to the Cypriot authorities and other organisations.
I am currently in a nightmare situation because of xyz Property Developers and I support your aim of trying to cleanse the industry of these smiling crooks.
From one of our Cypriot supporters: Thank you once again for this information it is the most I have received in the last 15 years even though I have called, wrote letters and actually have gone in person to the land registry of Famagusta as well as the Town hall.
I have just finished reading some more articles written on your web-site. I hope you can become a strong leader in bringing to the attention of other unsuspecting Brits, The huge problems they could face with inadequate knowledge from the start. How naive and trusting the vast majority of us are when we are trying to buy into 'a new life' in Cyprus.
We move away from our homeland for many reasons some of which are the concerns about theft and burglary.
Here they don’t just take some of your possessions they sneak up behind your back, with a charming smile, perhaps with the help of a lawyer friend to relieve you of your life’s investments and pension scheme. AND the government seem almost powerless at preventing this problem.
My advice to anyone buying a property in Cyprus would be 'DON'T' there’s only one winner and that's the development company.
Thanks to everyone involved in forming this pressure group. Hopefully the Cypriot authorities will work with you to make property purchase and ownership a delight for nationals, residents, and foreign investors.
Please accept my good wishes on your enterprise. I am sure that your support and advice will be invaluable to many people. Honesty and integrity seems to at a premium in some parts of the housing market in Cyprus and I hope that your efforts go some way in correcting this problem. Cyprus is such a beautiful country with people that have a lot to offer. It is unfortunate that this image is being tarnished by greed and inadequacies in the system. It is only the considerable power of consumers 'voting with their feet' that will rectify the situation and your organisation is a step in the right direction.
We have achieved more in the last few weeks with your help than we have over the last 6 months. I hope with this brilliant new website you are able to help many more purchasers.
Well done to you for setting up a site like this! It can be very daunting if there is no where or no one to turn to. Best wishes

Action is urgently needed to resolve Title Deed fiasco. Now Cyprus is in the EU this should be priority!
Oh Dear, Where do I start. Actually I'll have to formally register my problems at the weekend when I have more time.
For now I just want to say "well done on the website" "Action Group -- is a brilliant idea" My legal battle is taking up a lot of time but I hope I can help your collective in some way.
I have personal involvement involving many buyers and substantial amounts of money. Let's hope pressure groups like this bring to an end unethical dealings and allow people to have homes in this beautiful island.
No major problems encountered buying our re-sale in 2000, but waiting patiently for Title Deeds for our daughters apartment . Support your aims 100% as so many have encountered "nightmare scenarios ".
GOOD LUCK with your aims.
I will be coming over to Paphos in July and have bought a property of plan, that shall we say is having a few teething problems and have found it almost impossible to get a straight answer out of the developers, which is very frustrating as most of my concerns could be sorted out with a simple reply to an email, the poor communication just exacerbates the situation. I have passed your link onto a neighbour at this development who is having similar if not worse problems.
Brilliant! Great to know you are not alone and there is someone to turn to should problems arise.
